Marjorie Wendt

Class of 1978 | Inducted: 2007

Marjorie is being recognized for her contributions and achievements in the field of Business Leadership. Marjorie graduated from Carroll College in 1984 with a degree in Criminal Justice, and then in 1987 with a Juris Doctor degree from the Marquette University law school.

For the past twenty years, Marjorie has practiced law in Waukesha County becoming, in 1992, a partner in her own law firm which specializes in family law and general practice. Waukesha is clearly important to Marjorie, and in her spare time she has been a volunteer with the Optimist Club, which focuses on encouraging positive youth activities. She has also volunteered as a lawyer for the Women’s Center of Waukesha and the Greater Cooperating Churches of Waukesha legal clinic.

In 2006 and again in 2007, she received recognition from Milwaukee Magazine as representing the top five percent of attorneys in the state of Wisconsin. She is the 2007-2008 president of the Waukesha County Bar Association.
